He was very understanding and listened to my concerns, when he did the operation, he explained at every stage what he was going to do and what I would feel or see. At all times he put me at ease.

His manner and treatment of my, very nervous, elderly Aunt could not, in my opinion, have been better and the outcome of the treatment was everything we hoped for.

My consultant was excellent at listening and putting at ease any concerns I had about my medical procedure..Myopic Macular Degeneration.Having to have regular injections in my eye was rather disconcerting, however I needn't have worried as his calm demeanor really made me feel safe and I felt no pain.As well as being very professional Mr Sivaraj has very good empathy skills which patients really need in times of stress. I had complete trust in his expertise and this has certainly improved my vision.

Three months ago my left eye sight was extremely blurred to the point it could not read the largest letter in the eye test. The local optician diagnosed a suspected Macular hole and sent me to the Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary who diagnosed a Retinal Membrane and put me on a long waiting list. I immediately arranged a private appointment with Mr Sivaraj at Midland Eye Hospital who diagnosed a Cataract Membrane and performed YAG Laser Capsulotomy to remove it. I walked out with clear 20/20 vision. Before seeing Mr Sivaraj I had resigned myself to a future with only one good eye. I cannot thank Mr Sivaraj enough. He was brilliant with a cheerful, friendly, efficient manner. It confirms my belief in life that if you have a serious problem all you need is the right person to fix it.
